Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead transformational projects and drive business growth for Woolworths Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage construction projects across the Woolworths portfolio, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including renewal managers, equipment project managers, construction and refit teams, contractors, and shopfitters.
  • Manage project finances, including cost reporting, forecasting, and variation management.
  • Oversee construction, attend construction meetings, finalize contracts, and arrange agreements between parties.
  • Ensure site safety and resolve on-site issues.
  • Undertake timely project closeouts, conduct built quality inspections, and manage financial matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management in an end-to-end capacity.
  • Strong understanding of construction management methodology and principles.
  • Qualifications in Construction Management or a construction-based trade background are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel to regional locations for site meetings and inspections.
  • Construction industry white card and driver's license.
  • Experience in retail supermarket environments or quick-service retail is desirable.
  • Financial management experience with SAP or similar is desired.
