About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Data Migration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data migration workflows, ensuring seamless data extraction from various sources (CSV, XML, APIs, databases). Your expertise in cloud-based SaaS environments, SQL, React, frontend frameworks, AWS services like Lambda, SQS, ECS, and APIs will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement internal tools and services that streamline data migration workflows.
  • Develop data extraction logic from a variety of sources (CSV, XML, APIs, databases).
  • Implement features, refinements, and bug fixes to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging data transformation problems.
  • Review code and provide guidance as necessary.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, preferably in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
  • Expertise in SQL, React, and frontend frameworks when needed.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, ECS.
  • Experience with APIs and web-scraping techniques using Fetch.
  • Clean, maintainable code and fast iteration are essential.

Bonus Points

  • A good understanding of HTTP and web-scraping techniques using Fetch.
  • Next.js, TailwindCSS, Electron experience is a plus.
