Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to support the migration of reporting assets from Teradata to Databricks within our data platform.

  • Rebuild Cognos models, validate SQL logic, and ensure reports deliver accurate insights post-migration.
  • Design, build, and maintain Cognos packages using Framework Manager 11.2.
  • Define joins, relationships, and business keys between consumption entities.
  • Migrate and validate Cognos reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) from Teradata to Databricks.
  • Ensure queries embedded within Cognos reports are updated and tested against the new Databricks backend.
Key Skills & Expertise
  • Proven experience with IBM Cognos Analytics 11.2 (mandatory).
  • Hands-on expertise with Framework Manager (building and maintaining packages, joins, relationships, security filters).
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to analyse, modify, and optimise queries generated by Cognos.
  • Experience in report migration projects (preferably Teradata → Databricks or similar cloud data platforms).

Key Requirements: Proven track record of successful data migrations, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication skills.
