Disability Support Professional for Personalised Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Cobram, Victoria. As a key member of our Residential Accommodation support team, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with disability to live the lives they choose.
A Competitive Salary: $35-40 per hour (dependent on experience), plus generous salary packaging benefits to increase your take-home pay and reduce your taxable income.
About the RoleThis rewarding role involves supporting adults with disability one-on-one or in groups, in their homes and occasionally in the community. You will work closely with individuals to implement personalised plans that address their unique needs and goals, promoting independence and inclusivity.
- Support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Accompany clients to appointments, events, and shopping trips, promoting social connections and community integration.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and carers to develop and implement tailored support plans.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A positive attitude, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Effective communication skills, with good English literacy to communicate well with clients.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, promoting empathy and understanding.
- An Australian Driver's Licence, with the ability to obtain a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if not already held.
