Rehabilitation Professional

About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering assessments and counseling to individuals who are navigating complex rehabilitation plans.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as a passion for helping people return to work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify barriers to return-to-work and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
  • Design, implement, and monitor Return-to-Work programs to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.
  • Visit workplaces to understand the challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the benefits of good work practices.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology (5th year completed - Masters Degree for Psychology applicants).
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies (AHPRA, AASW, or ASORC).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and agile environment.
