At MACA Mining Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled HR Analytics Lead to join our team. This is a pivotal role in several key areas, including collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, overseeing annual remuneration processes, and supervision of HR Administration and Global Mobility team members.

This role is based at our head office in Welshpool and offers a competitive salary, plus a large suite of salary sacrificing options through a third-party provider and a range of corporate discounts. Onsite parking and Uber to work opportunities are also available.

The successful candidate will possess a degree qualification in Human Resources or Psychology, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a similar role. They will also have 5+ years of previous experience working in a data analytics role, ideally across human resources systems and metrics.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and managing Power BI reports, have excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, and strong coaching, mentoring, and change management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement scores, and recruitment efficiency, and integrating them into the HR Monthly report.
  • Preparing and lodging the annual Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) report.
  • Creating dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Developing and maintaining regular and ad-hoc reports for HR leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the annual salary, wage, and bonus review program.
  • Conducting BOOT testing in line with modern award requirements.
  • Supervising the 2 HR Administrators and Global Mobility Officer and playing an active role in the day-to-day and process improvement aspects of their roles.
