Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metals and mining, with a strong understanding of iron ore assets and global market trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive research coverage of global coal, iron ore and steel assets. This will involve conducting analyses on production, costs, mining parameters and operational risks.

The role requires strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to gather intelligence from industry stakeholders and provide high-quality insights to clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales and consulting colleagues to support clients and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (Economics, Business, Mining, Geology, Engineering etc.)
  • Experience in the metals and mining sector, with a focus on iron ore
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
