Job Description

As a key member of our Bulks Assets team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive research coverage of global iron ore assets. You will lead our global iron ore cost benchmarking process, including the VIU cost analysis.

The successful candidate will have experience in reviewing iron ore assets, conducting competitor analysis and benchmarking, and crafting industry-related cost curves. They will also understand the big picture and be able to analyse and form clear conclusions from various datasets.

You will be primarily responsible for developing relationships with the Bulks natural resources community, gathering intelligence that will enrich the quality and timeliness of our research solutions. You will also become a go-to expert for clients and media, working closely with sales and consulting colleagues to support clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant degree qualification (Economics, Business, Mining, Geology, Engineering etc.)
  • Experience in metals and mining and/or energy sectors
  • Reviewing iron ore assets, conducting competitor analysis and benchmarking
  • Crafting industry-related cost curves
  • Understanding the big picture and analysing complex data
