**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teaching professional to join our school community as a Learning and Support teacher.

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in inspiring a nurturing, inclusive, and innovative teaching environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with classroom teachers to identify adjustments needed to support student learning needs through a range of strategies.
  • Creating, processing, and evaluating access requests for support services.
  • Providing evidence-based teaching practices to ensure every student achieves high-quality learning outcomes.
  • Collaborating effectively with parents, carers, and educational professionals to foster a comprehensive understanding of student's needs.
  • Assisting with professional learning for classroom teachers and School Learning Support Officers.

**Selection Criteria:**

The successful applicant must possess:

  • Approval to teach students with learning and support needs in mainstream classes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
