About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Chandler Macleod. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Handle general banking tasks, including donations and perform bank reconciliations across various accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Scan and process payment files, and manage the Accounts Payable email inbox to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and process month-end journals for prepaid insurance, audit fees, GST, asset additions, and other key areas.
  • Expense Management: Assist with the allocation and reallocation of expenses such as workers' compensation and other relevant costs.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and tools for managing accounts, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Bookkeeping desirable but not essential if prior industry experience is demonstrable.
