We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Chandler Macleod. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' financial activities.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Handle general banking tasks, including donations and perform bank reconciliations across various accounts.
- Accounts Payable: Scan and process payment files, and manage the Accounts Payable email inbox to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and process month-end journals for prepaid insurance, audit fees, GST, asset additions, and other key areas.
- Expense Management: Assist with the allocation and reallocation of expenses such as workers' compensation and other relevant costs.
- 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in using accounting software and tools for managing accounts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Tertiary qualifications in Bookkeeping desirable but not essential if prior industry experience is demonstrable.
- Onsite technical and induction training provided.
- Great opportunity to gain diverse exposure in bookkeeping/accounting skills.
- Flexibility with regard to working hour start & finish time.
