Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to deliver accurate and timely payroll services.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring system reliability, compliance, and detailed reporting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll and time management systems to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Process end-to-end payroll, including all relevant payments and statutory obligations.
  • Maintain employee records such as new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and leave.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and financial summaries to support management and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll and finance projects and suggest improvements to processes.
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and produce reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience running end-to-end payroll of at least 350+ employees.
  • Intermediate Excel skills with ability to do V-lookups, pivot tables.
  • Experience using KeyPay payroll software advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation, awards, and taxation.
  • Confidence in using and auditing payroll and time management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Good organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work well with HR, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to support improvements in payroll processes.
