We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional support to volunteer units.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position until 30 June 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, ensuring operational readiness, and assisting with functions as part of the Unit Support Team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized support to volunteer units and their management teams.
- Coordinate administration, compliance, grant applications, and logistics to maintain unit operational readiness.
- Assist with functions including administration, compliance, grant applications, and logistics.
The role plays a major part in Victoria's emergency response activities during emergencies, including Flood, Storm, Earthquake, Tsunami, Landslide, and supporting other agencies as required. Employees may be directly employed or called upon to support emergency response activities after training and suitability assessment.

We support road rescue networks, search and rescue operations, and collaboration with partner agencies during major incidents.
