Sourcing Expert - Lead Global Category Acquisition

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an accomplished Sourcing Specialist to lead global category acquisition efforts in a fixed-term, 2-year role. Reporting to the Global Category Lead MRO, you will source and contract for capital projects and associated goods and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing process, including supplier selection and negotiation.
  • Develop RFx processes, manage procurement activities in Ariba eSourcing, and track assigned categories of spend.
  • Improve contract management through negotiation and drafting agreements.
  • Communicate project requirements to potential vendors and facilitate relationships with strategic suppliers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, supply management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply management or sourcing, with demonstrated leadership.
  • Purchasing Management Certification (ISM) and R&D capital sourcing experience.
  • Negotiating complex supply agreements.
