Talent Acquisition Specialist
to join our People & Culture team

Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist who is looking for career growth and development opportunities. You will work closely with our Retail Management team to ensure we deliver a consistent and best practice employee experience for all team members, helping them to build a high performing and engaged team who deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage the Recruitment process and assist Senior Leaders & hiring managers with end-to-end recruitment requirements
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs & candidate selection criteria
  • Source applicants through online channels and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Review existing recruitment & selection processes to ensure ease of engagement and efficiency
  • Manage, report on, and develop the engagement of The Globe (World Manager Platform)
  • Manage the Careers inbox and emails
  • Administer Retail experience enhancement programs

About you:

  • 2-3 yrs professional experience in a similar recruitment position, ideally from both agency & in-house environments
  • Strong background in Retail recruitment
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Experience using application tracking systems to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law
  • Strong attention to detail

This full-time position offers the opportunity for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic P&C Team, and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands. This is a very exciting time to join the company as you will be part of a large, experienced and super-fun team, working 5 days in the office on St Kilda Road with access to lots of public transport, cafes near by and with dogs in the office – this is a role not to be missed
