We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of 300 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team

Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process and assist Senior Leaders & hiring managers with end-to-end recruitment requirements
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
  • Source applicants through online channels and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
  • Maintain records of all recruitment materials, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Review existing recruitment and selection processes to ensure ease of engagement and efficiency
  • Manage, report on, and develop the engagement of The Globe (World Manager Platform)
  • Manage the Careers inbox and emails
About you
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar recruitment position, ideally from both agency and in-house environments
  • Strong background in retail recruitment
  • Experience in full-cycle volume recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law
  • Strong attention to detail

This full-time position offers the opportunity for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a fast-paced, dynamic People & Culture team, and to contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands. The role is based in Melbourne (St Kilda Road) with 5 days in the office, good public transport access, nearby cafes, and dogs in the office.
