AtkinsRéalis seeks a highly skilled Technical Director for Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will drive revenue generation, develop market strategy, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationships with PHES clients.
  • Implement best practices for Health and Safety and CDM in the energy generation and storage market.
  • Contribute to market strategy and annual business plan execution.
  • Identify and manage portfolio risks.
  • Oversee Project Managers and Project Directors.
  • Deliver market revenue, profit, and practice demand in line with budgets.
  • Ensure project reviews based on risk.
  • Lead business development and successful bidding.
  • Provide leadership and engineering guidance to the PHES team.
  • Manage financial performance and direct staff recruitment.
  • Assess the market and support innovation of services.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams and motivating others.
  • Financial and commercial management experience for large portfolios.
  • Successful negotiation and dispute resolution experience.
  • Contractual and commercial knowledge, including large, complex projects.
  • Leadership and project portfolio management experience.
  • Ability to lead diverse bid and project delivery teams.
