Job Title:

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze geotechnical data to investigate rock fall events and address ground control issues.
  • Develop systems for monitoring and mitigating geotechnical risks, collaborating with the team to prepare and issue hazard maps and monitoring reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety standards related to ground control.
Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree in Geotechnics, Mining Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in Geotechnical Engineering, particularly in open-cut mining.
  • Familiarity with Rocscience Software suite.
  • Knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
  • Membership of AusIMM (CP preferred) is advantageous.
