
Community Liaison Specialist

This is a highly visible and dynamic role that requires exceptional communication skills to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local community members and government authorities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in organizing stakeholder engagement meetings, coordinating the maintenance of respective team diaries/calendars, and ensuring training and travel requirements are completed in line with project needs and vehicle/driving and fatigue safety policies.
The successful applicant will act as the first point of contact for community stakeholders via various communication channels and the relevant Project office.
Main Responsibilities:- Schedule Management: Coordinate and administer the organization of engagement activities and team operations, including calendar invites/invitations, establishing agendas, actions register, taking minutes, CCC meeting preparation, mail merges, data entry, formatting documents, preparing excel spreadsheets, printing, arranging quotes, arranging communications distribution, booking halls and catering.
- Product Delivery Support: Work closely with the Stakeholder Engagement team to ensure quality product delivery, assist in the preparation and updating of Engagement Implementation Plans, the development of project communication material, and formal responses to ministerial/community correspondence and government enquiries.
- Stakeholder Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local community members and government authorities, through door-knocking activities, 'pop-up' stalls, local community information sessions, field and site investigations (where applicable), and project activity notifications (via Consultation Manager).
- Document Management: Prepare and maintain program documentation/databases - including Consultation Manager and respective Property Acquisition databases - for accurate record keeping; and timely reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes.
