Job Title: Nursing Professional

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to all patients and their families at a busy hospital.
  • Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical practitioners and allied health professionals.
  • Adhere to strict policies, encompassing OH & S, Infection Control, Waste Management, and Quality Improvement.

The Ward:

  • A 28-bed post-operative surgical ward provides specialized care for patients requiring complex surgery.
  • Specialties include colorectal, ENT, general surgeries, plastic surgeries, gastroenterology, vascular surgeries, gynaecology, urogynaecology, urology, and ophthalmology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive nursing care plans based on thorough patient assessments.
  • Engage patients and their families in the care planning process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical pathways.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and attend education sessions.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent clinical experience in a surgical ward setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
