As a strategic IT Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of the Sourcing team responsible for various sourcing activities, contract negotiation and management of IT Suppliers.

The role involves ensuring procurement guidelines, requirements and policies are followed. This includes managing sourcing activities including RFx, reviewing and negotiating IT contracts, and providing guidance and advice around supplier and procurement policies.

Key responsibilities include developing relationships with key suppliers to drive mutual value while ensuring contract compliance, fostering a collaborative environment, and regularly completing analysis and providing recommendations.

While holding relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commercial, or financial disciplines is ideal, prior experience in IT sourcing processes and practices is crucial for success.

Proven experience in building and managing supplier relationships, as well as running go-to market activities such as RFIs and RFPs, is essential.

Strong communication and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels internally and externally, are also required.
