Equestrian Training Position

At My Horseracing, we are seeking a skilled Equestrian Trainer to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct riding sessions with 8-10 horses daily, focusing on pace/timed work and jump outs.
  • Train and educate young horses to optimize their performance.
  • Pre-train young horses where necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management team.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience as an Equestrian Trainer or 2 years of highly relevant experience with a relevant qualification.
  • Knowledge of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing is essential.
  • Proven ability to train and educate young horses is critical to success in this role.
  • Excellent horsemanship skills are required.
