About Our Community Support Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

As a Community Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, and hygiene assistance. You will also assist with meal preparation, domestic duties, social support, shopping, transportation, and pet care. Additionally, you may be required to perform tasks such as fitting and removing pressure stockings, providing respite care, and assisting with medication administration.

This is a casual opportunity that covers various areas throughout the northern suburbs, including Alkimos, Butler, Two Rocks, and surrounding suburbs. We are looking for someone who is available to work between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Thursday and Friday.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
  • Assist with meal preparation, domestic duties, social support, shopping, transportation, and pet care.
  • Fitting and removing pressure stockings, providing respite care, and assisting with medication administration.
Requirements
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks.
  • Current WA driver's licence.
  • Access to a reliable WA registered motor vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
