Job Role: Cloud Data Architect
About the Job:
We're seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to design, develop and implement scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing, data engineering and architecture, as well as experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks/Spark and other related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain large-scale data architectures on Microsoft Azure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions
Design, develop and deploy high-quality data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Spark and other Azure services
Ensure best practices in data engineering, CI/CD and coding standards are followed
Optimize data storage, processing and retrieval for performance and reliability
Requirements:
5-10 years' experience as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer
Microsoft Azure certification(s) or equivalent cloud certification
Strong expertise in SQL/T-SQL and Apache Spark
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of data engineering best practices and cloud computing principles
