We are seeking a skilled nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents in a residential aged care home.
- Direct clinical nursing care will be provided to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
- A team leader role will involve coaching, supervision, and guidance of the personal care team.
- The nurse will work safely to protect themselves, colleagues and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.
To succeed in this position you'll need
- A compassionate heart and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues.
- Strong coaching/training skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
