**Accounts Payable Officer - Procurement Expertise Required**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with a proven track record of managing full function creditors ledgers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, freight invoices, and staff expenses through our automated system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices through the automated system
  • Processing of freight invoices
  • Handle and resolve supplier queries
  • Follow up on problem invoices and missing information
  • Matching purchase orders to invoices
  • Bank and supplier reconciliations
  • Process all staff expenses
  • Sending staff expenses for authorisation
  • Prepare weekly payments
  • Assist with month-end closure and reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous background in Accounts Payable
  • Experience working in a full function/end to end capacity
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Ideal exposure to large ERP Systems
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
