About the McGrath Foundation

The McGrath Foundation is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing free McGrath Breast Care Nurses to individuals and families affected by breast cancer across Australia.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Fundraising and Partnerships Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising campaigns and volunteer programs to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet our financial targets and support our mission.
  • Fundraiser Engagement and Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners to ensure successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Donor Recognition and Stewardship: Develop and implement effective donor recognition and stewardship strategies to encourage loyalty and acknowledge supporters.
  • Event Management: Support the planning and execution of major fundraising events, including the Pink Test, to drive revenue and engagement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational outcomes and improve the supporter experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least three years' experience in fundraising, account management, or donor relationship roles.
  • Skills: Proven ability to meet financial targets through strategic planning and relationship building, experience with fundraising software, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, communications, or business.
