Optical Dispensers play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible care for their eyes. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Optical Dispenser.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse prescriptions accurately. They will also have strong communication skills, enabling them to provide exceptional customer service and effectively explain complex concepts to clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting and analysing prescriptions to ensure accurate dispensing of spectacles and contact lenses.
  • Selecting the most suitable frames and lenses for each client, taking into account their prescription, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
  • Conducting thorough quality control checks on all spectacles and contact lenses before they are dispensed to customers.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries, and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
