Spiritual Care Facilitator

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team as a Spiritual Care Facilitator. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents, promoting their dignity, life, and spirituality through connected and inclusive communities.

As a Spiritual Care Facilitator, you will deliver pastoral care services for residents, ensuring they have choice in maintaining their cultural and spiritual wellbeing. A typical day may involve:

  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with residents through one-to-one visits and group-based activities
  • Encouraging resident choice and participation in pastoral care services
  • Providing spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and family members within a trauma-informed care framework
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Successful completion of Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care, Counselling, or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality
  • Strong personal spirituality lived out in the context of a Christian-based community
