Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our engineering maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the team with operational tasks, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the property, guest rooms, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the engineering maintenance team and support them with operational tasks
  • Responsible for completing maintenance and upkeep of the property, guest rooms, and public areas
  • Respond to guest requests and deliver service excellence with each guest experience
  • Actively identify and conduct repairs to the building and equipment
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings
  • Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement creative improvement initiatives, setting the pace in the industry
  • Plan and execute team building activities so associates feel valued for their contributions
  • Be a dynamic and thoughtful supervisor by empowering and supporting your team

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual with relevant experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial. You should have working rights in Australia and be enthusiastic to escalate your career. Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment, you should be armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
