Technical Support Engineer Role

This position involves providing technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in software and hardware systems.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Key responsibilities include owning, investigating and resolving complex software issues, proposing workarounds for customers and contributing to digital self-help materials.

To be successful in this role, you should have 2-4 years of experience in Application Support, proficiency in software architecture and testing, and a working understanding of automation hardware communications and setup.

Key skills include previous experience with AVEVA System Platform and Plant SCADA or GEO SCADA, ability to demonstrate understanding of Windows operating system, networking concepts and security, and knowledge of general Windows operating system tools and commands.

  • Owning, investigating and resolving complex software issues, proposing workarounds for customers.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of activities and findings in case management system.
  • Contribution to digital self-help materials promoting faster problem resolution for our customers while building a robust internal knowledge sharing platform for the team.
