Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a learner-centred environment that is supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership team, teachers, and staff members to foster a positive school culture.
  • Proactively engage in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Establish positive relationships in pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development.
  • Ensure teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

Requirements:

  • You will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including creating a supportive classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Be committed to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents to enrich learning experiences and achieve best educational outcomes.
  • Have a passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia and hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
