We work closely with employers, Apprentices, Trainees and the community to create opportunities, increase uptake and provide support throughout the Apprenticeship lifecycle.
In this role you will be providing mentoring to Apprentices and Trainees to help and support them to complete their training. You will also work with women in non traditional trades to mentor them into employment.

We are seeking to fill a full time permanent vacancy.

**Location**: Brisbane CBD

**Part of your duties you will be required to**:

- Provide mentoring, support and individualised assistance to support Apprentices to remain in meaningful, sustainable employment.
- Assess Apprentice and employer barriers that may affect retention and liaise with the Team to implement appropriate support plans.
- Assist Apprentices to access crisis support and other resources if and as required.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as RTOs and external service providers to assist in identifying early intervention needs and support issues to achieve positive training outcomes

**To be successful in these roles, you will ideally have**:

- Experience of the Australian Apprenticeships Support Network program - desirable but not essential
- Confident communicator - ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audiences
- Strong problem solving ability - helping others find solutions
- Ability and able to demonstrate experience of mentoring and supporting others
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people
