Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Specialist to strengthen our technical operations.

  • About the Role:
  • The Senior Infrastructure Specialist will manage and maintain our Windows Server environment, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security across all supported systems.
  • This role involves performing day-to-day operational tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, patching, and configuration of server infrastructure in line with organisational standards and best practices.
  • The successful candidate will lead troubleshooting activities for complex technical issues, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective resolutions to minimise downtime and service disruption.
  • This role acts as a key escalation point for critical incidents and major outages, coordinating with relevant teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders.
  • The Senior Infrastructure Specialist will contribute to the ongoing development, documentation, and improvement of Business-as-Usual (BAU) processes to ensure efficiency and consistency in operational practices.
  • This role collaborates with other members of the Infrastructure Services team to plan, test, and deploy system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements in accordance with change management protocols.
  • The successful candidate must ensure server environments comply with security and compliance requirements, including vulnerability remediation and audit readiness.
  • This role provides mentoring, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to junior team members.
