About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and other areas of the facility are clean and tidy
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortages or breakages
  • Work collaboratively with the Residential Services Manager to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed prioritization and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion
