Midwifery Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated registered nurse to participate in our postgraduate midwifery clinical placements program.

The purpose of the program is to qualify and practice as a midwife. Our postgraduate midwifery students are a valuable part of our team and our clinical placement rotations cover a diverse range of midwifery practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in clinical placements at The Royal Women's Hospital
  • Work under the supervision of experienced Clinical Support Midwives (CSMs)
  • Develop skills and knowledge in midwifery practice

Requirements:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months of acute post-registration experience
  • Have a strong desire to learn and contribute to the goal of creating healthier futures for women and babies
  • Hold AHPRA Registration as a Nurse and have a current Working with Children Check
