Postgraduate Diploma In Advanced Midwifery Practice

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a midwifery postgraduate student on a part-time fixed term basis. You will work across one of our Maternity sites, gaining practical experience in midwifery care.
Key Responsibilities:- To complete a postgraduate diploma in midwifery while developing your expertise in midwifery care.
- To provide holistic care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, the postnatal period, and during home visits.
- To assist women and babies with complex health issues.
Clinical support will be facilitated by the midwifery education teams across all sites. We offer supernumerary time at the start of the program to ensure you are well-supported during your employment.
Requirements:- Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration as a Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated acute nursing experience.
- Completion of a Graduate program is desirable with rotations in acute areas.
- Meet the enrolment requirements for Deakin University.
- Outstanding communication and time management skills coupled with delivering high-quality patient care.
You will work part-time 0.63 EFT fixed term for the duration of the 18-month Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, working a rotating roster across all clinical shifts.
