About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Specialist to join our team at Hammond Care as a Senior Clinical Advisor. This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate professional to provide clinical expertise and support to our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Review and Advice

As a Senior Clinical Advisor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical reviews of cases within our program, providing expert advice and guidance to our team members.

  • Program Development and Research

You will contribute to the development of programs and services within the Dementia Centre, collaborating with our team to design and implement evidence-based initiatives that drive positive outcomes for our clients.

  • Leadership and Collaboration

In this role, you will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that enhance our services and improve patient care. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the healthcare sector to build relationships and advance our mission.

What We Need from You
  • Clinical Expertise

To be successful in this role, you must have current specialist registration with AHPRA as either a geriatrician or psychiatrist, with significant post-fellowship experience in the public hospital system.

  • Operational Leadership

As a leader, you will be expected to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

You will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners.
