Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Clinical Care Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration between patients, clinicians, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop Diverse Professional Portfolios: Gain experience in depot and clozapine clinics, supporting consumer fitness groups, and facilitating therapeutic interventions to enhance your skills and expertise.
  • Thorough Assessments and Treatment Planning: Utilise your expertise to perform mental health and psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and develop personalised treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Team Leadership and Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the Team Manager to contribute to a cohesive and efficient team environment, and engage in clinical auditing, research, and evaluation initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
  • Mental Health Course or Qualification: Enrolled in an approved mental health course or qualification in mental health practice.
  • Clinical Expertise and Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in mental health services.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and community stakeholders.
