Job Opportunity

The College Counsellor will work on a part-time basis, reporting directly to the Head of Campus and the Director of Psychological Services. This role is situated within an esteemed all-boys' independent school in the Lower North Shore of Sydney.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To identify and encourage students who are disconnected from mainstream school life.
  • To conduct individual counselling sessions with students, as well as provide support and guidance to parents.
  • To perform psycho-educational assessments and behavioural emotional assessments.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree that includes psychology and counselling.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with psychological and education assessment tools.
  • Experience within an educational context would be advantageous.
