Senior Quality and Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) Professional

We are seeking an experienced QHSE professional to lead safety, quality, and environmental initiatives across our Australasia operations. Based in Perth, this full-time, permanent role offers the chance to influence meaningful outcomes and support a strong safety culture, with occasional domestic and international travel.

About the Role

This senior-level position is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our management system with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management System Compliance: Ensure the company's management system meets international standards for quality, health, safety, and environment.
  • Audits and Certifications: Coordinate with external auditors for certifications and audits, and conduct internal audits as needed.
  • Non-Conformances: Manage and monitor non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions.
  • Performance Metrics: Report performance metrics to senior management, driving continuous improvement.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, Environment Initiatives: Champion quality, health, safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Hazard and Risk Assessments: Conduct hazard and risk assessments, implementing control measures and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Process Mapping: Lead and manage process mapping initiatives to improve operational workflows, identify efficiencies, and ensure compliance with QHSE standards across all departments.
  • Operational Risks: Support senior management in managing operational risks and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Incident Reporting: Oversee incident and accident reporting, investigation, and injury management, including return-to-work activities.
  • Documentation: Develop QMS plans and documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Manage emergency preparedness and response protocols.
