Role Overview
As a vital member of our dental team, you will provide essential chair-side support to Dentists, Dental Specialists, and Hygienists in administering dental care to patients. Your responsibilities will also encompass various administrative tasks, including the management of patient records and promoting oral health practices among patients, while ensuring the dental surgery maintains optimal hygiene standards.
About the Facility
Located at a major Air Force Base, our health centre serves a large community of RAAF personnel and offers a range of services including medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmacy services.
Candidate Profile
- Exemplary personal integrity and ethical conduct.
- Possession of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or an equivalent qualification recognized nationally.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience within the last five years.
- Recent engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Current certifications in First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009).
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.
- Australian Citizenship is required to obtain the necessary Baseline Security Clearance for this position.
