About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Serco's Enoggera Health Centre in Brisbane. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing chair-side assistance to our Dentists and Dental Specialists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide chair-side assistance to Dentists and Dental Specialists during dental procedures
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including entering and updating patient records
  • Contribute to the promotion of oral health to patients
  • Maintain optimal hygiene of the surgery and ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' (full time equivalent) chair-side experience within the last 5 years
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
