About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Serco. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side assistance to dentists and dental specialists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including entering and updating patient records, and performing other duties as required.
  • Contribute to the promotion of oral health to patients, providing education and support to help them maintain good oral hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, including Defence policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the optimal hygiene of the surgery.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years' (full-time equivalent) chair-side experience within the last 5 years.
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Security Clearance

You must be an Australian citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
