Training and Technical Services Position

As a Training and Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial outcomes and supporting our state strategy by growing product and technical knowledge across our teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, competency-based technical training to internal teams and external customers, with a focus on formal and informal learning experiences.
  • Provide on-site technical support and advice to ensure consistent product solutions, aligning with company standards.
  • Champion learning and development initiatives to enhance confidence and capability in render systems, textures, topcoats, cladding, and specialty finishes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage a comprehensive 12-month training plan, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Facilitating group and individual learning, with a preference for those holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Providing administrative support for training programs and events, including logistical coordination and resource management.
  • Assisting with the development of training materials and resources, incorporating industry insights and best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives, fostering effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • A strong background in training, with some experience within the building/construction industry or a related field, preferably with a focus on facades.
  • Familiarity with the Acratex product portfolio is highly valued.
  • Experience in facilitating group and individual learning, with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment being advantageous.
