Urban Development Engineer

At our company, we are seeking an experienced Urban Development Engineer to join our team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects and advance your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with experience in urban development, land development, or brownfield projects. They will be proficient in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project, and have a deep understanding of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing budgets and preparing fee proposals;
  • Overseeing the UD design and drafting program;
  • Leading design coordination with architects, landscape architects, and engineers at project meetings;
  • Coordinating technical reviews and internal QA processes;
  • Taking on project management, bid support, and leadership duties.
