Job Title: Project Support Officer

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, maintaining project records and asset management, data entry, process development and simple procurement.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including documentation and reports;
  • Schedule meetings and take minutes to ensure effective communication and decision-making;
  • Provide governance support to our Project Sponsor, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives;
  • Coordinate incoming requests and manage competing priorities in line with team objectives;
  • Communicate effectively across projects and stakeholders, providing information requests, schedule updates, and reports as required;
  • Assist in preparing project-related documents, including status updates, budgets, discussion papers, and documentation required by the Defence Capability Lifecycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong administrative knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in an agile environment where priorities change rapidly;
  • Minimum 5 years Government or Defence experience;
  • Australian citizenship and NV1 Government Security Clearance or higher.
