As an Employment Services Manager, you'll lead a team of dedicated professionals who empower people with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

  • Provide impactful leadership aligned to our values, mission and strategic plans
  • Empower team performance and productivity, ensuring consistent commercial returns and supporting participants to achieve employment matched to their goals and circumstances
  • Oversee multiple sites across the region with travel required to ensure all locations are well-supported
  • Maintain a deep understanding of local caseloads, employment, social and other trends, building meaningful relationships with key employers, services, schools, training providers and across local services
  • Adapt servicing to local requirements and circumstances, innovating service approaches within a framework of evidence-based decision making where the voice of participants and employers is paramount

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Customer Focus: Empower participants to achieve their employment goals, providing tailored support and connecting them with employers who value diversity and inclusion
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the effective management of multiple sites, ensuring compliance with National Standards for Disability, ISO accreditation, and other quality initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, services, schools, training providers, and local services

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have tertiary qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services, or relevant fields
  • Bring experience leading or delivering employment or support services, including barrier management, reverse marketing, and placement support
  • Able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, overcome objections, and problem-solve in complex situations
