**Job Description** The Position**:
This is an onsite position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated InWork Support Consultant to join our team in our Peninsula region. As an InWork Support Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals and maintain successful work placements.
- Provide personalized support to clients with disabilities in their workplace settings
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients and employers to ensure smooth job integration
- Develop and implement tailored support plans to address individual client needs
- Collaborate with employers to create inclusive work environments and make necessary accommodations
- Assist clients in developing job-related skills and strategies for workplace success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and client records
- Liaise with community partners, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs in the workplace
- Stay informed about NDIS policies and local support services to provide relevant guidance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of support services
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
- Certification in Disability Support (preferred)
- Previous experience in disability support or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures
- Familiarity with local community resources and support services
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
