The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory effectively.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in cost control and budget management, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to innovate and implement seasonal menus.
  • Oversee food presentation and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, making decisions to resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
