About the Role
">The company is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Piping Designer to join their Brisbane team. The ideal candidate will have experience in piping/mechanical design for mining, mineral, or metals projects.
">- Create detailed models and technical drawings in line with industry standards and internal procedures
- Lead and facilitate design reviews across multi-discipline teams
- Develop practical layout solutions with a strong focus on efficiency and constructability
This is a 3-month contract role, with a view to extension. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with the right skills and qualifications to succeed in this position.
">Responsibilities:- Design and Development
- Collaboration and Communication
- Project Management
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
">Qualifications:- Experience in piping/mechanical design for mining, mineral, or metals projects
- Certificate III or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting (advantageous)
- Proficiency in MicroStation design software (highly regarded)
A competitive hourly rate applies to this position. ONLY candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
